Suharto

     Soeharto was born in Kemusuk, Argomulyo, Godean, to the west of the city of Yogyakarta on June 8, 1921. Kertosudiro, his father who gave him the name of Soeharto.Soeharto was the first and the last child of the couple called Kertosudiro and Sukirah. Kertosudiro was previously a widower with two children. After the birth of Soeharto, later on the couple divorced. Each of them remarried. Sukirah married to a man named Pramono and had seven children, including the couple's second child Probosutedjo. Kertosudiro got married again after four children.

    Suharto acquired a reputation for able leadership and sound strategy in opposing not only the Dutch military forces, JakartaAs a lieutenant colonel he participated in 1950 in an expedition which succeeded in suppressing an incipient rebellion in South Sulawesi. Most of his infrequent command assignments were in CentralJava , somewhat removed from the more dynamic center of national politics and administration in the capital, . In 1957 Suharto was promoted to the rank of colonel; in 1960 he became a brigadier general; and in 1963, as major general, he assumed command of the Army Strategic Command.Forexample : 

He was able to do his job in South Sulawesi in surpressing anincipient rebellion,he was promoted to the higher rank in his career.

     In summary , I also learn the spirit of leadership in Soeharto's life. Eventhough he came from a poor family and lived in a village, he could survive his life and became the most important person or the president of Indonesia.
